What we collect01

We only collect personal information that you choose to share with us — your name, email address, and phone number if you contact us, plus whatever details you include in the body of your message. We use that information for one purpose: to write back to you. We do not sell it, lend it, license it, or share it with marketing partners or advertising networks. We store it on the same servers that run this site, kept reasonably long enough to follow up on your inquiry — usually six to twelve months, sometimes longer for orders or projects with open warranty. You may request a copy of everything we hold, ask us to correct mistakes, or have it deleted entirely. Just send a note and we will act on it within thirty days. If you feel we have not handled your data properly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

How we use it02

Only functional cookies are used here — the ones a site needs to remember a choice you've actively made: language, currency, log-in state, cart contents. We do not run analytics or advertising scripts on this site. There are no third-party scripts that drop their own tracking cookies. If you want a finer-grained inventory of every cookie this site sets, write to us and we'll send you the full list. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; the site will keep working but you'll have to re-enter preferences on subsequent visits.

Your rights03

You can request a copy of everything we hold on you, ask for any of it to be corrected, withdraw consent for processing, or have your records deleted entirely. We will handle any reasonable request within thirty days without charge. You also have the right to ask for your data in a portable, machine-readable format so you can move it elsewhere. If we ever disagree with you about how something has been handled, you have the right to raise it with your local data-protection authority. Email hello@slatevaultpath.com.

Client galleries04

Every shoot we deliver arrives as a private online gallery within 72 hours. Gallery links are unlisted and password-protected on request, and they expire 90 days after delivery unless you ask us to keep one live longer. The photographs themselves stay in our archive for two years — commercial clients often come back for alternate crops — after which we confirm before deleting or retaining anything. We never use client photographs in our own portfolio without written permission.

Cookies05

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. The only thing your browser stores for us is a small preference token if you switch the gallery view mode, and it never leaves your device. We do not run third-party analytics, embedded social widgets, or remarketing pixels anywhere on slatevaultpath.com.

Payments and invoicing06

Commercial invoices include your company name, billing address, and the details Japanese tax law obliges us to keep — we retain those records for the statutory accounting period. Card payments are handled entirely by the payment provider; card numbers never touch our systems. Bank-transfer details you send us are used once for reconciliation and are not stored in our client database.

Reaching us about your data07

If you want to know what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, write to hello@slatevaultpath.com or post to our studio at 2-44-14 Shimouma, Setagaya City, Tokyo 154-0002. We answer within five business days — usually faster, since the same two people who shoot your project also read this inbox.
